The head of a middle class family in Banaras, the city of Kashi Vishwanath, calls out…
“Why do you always give me such a huge list? Do you use exhaust all the stocks at once?”
When the fan running in the room makes Awadh feel calmer, he lies down on the cot and says, “It wasn’t easy to find them. I had to go to several shops.”
Then he calls louder, “Where are you, Sudha? Take these things…”
Before Awadh could finish his sentence, his wife, Sudha arrives with water, jaggery and a sweet smile on her face.
